Please download and use the following drivers for resolving
the “giant cursor issue” specific to Studio 1558.
Note that these drivers are not on the support website and
these are only the beta version of the drivers.
Instructions
* Download the ATI
driver from here
to the root of your C: drive. Unzip R272996.zip and it should go to C:\R272996
* Click Start- Control Panel- Programs- Uninstall a program
* Choose ATI Catalyst Control Center or ATI Catalyst Install Manager
* Click Uninstall/Change
* Follow the prompts to Remove the software
* Do this for all ATI listings
* When done, close the Control Panel but do not restart the PC
* Click Start
* Right Click Computer
* Click Manage- Device Manager
* Open Display Adapters
* Right click ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
* Click Uninstall
* Be sure to check, "Delete the driver software for this device"
* Click OK
* Close all boxes and restart the PC
* Click Start
* Right Click Computer
* Click Manage- Device Manager
* Open Display Adapters. It should state "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter"
* Open My Computer- C: Drive- R272996
* Run Setup
* Follow the prompts and restart the PC when done. Check for the issue
* Click Start- Control Panel- Programs- Uninstall a program

* Follow the prompts to Remove the software
