Print spooler could not be started. Error 1068 the dependent service is not started

Delete all except These default print monitors (these should not be removed):
AppleTalk Printing Devices (When Services for Macintosh is installed)
BJ Language Monitor
Local Port
PJL Language Monitor
Standard TCP/IP Port
USB Monitor
Windows NT Fax Monitor
LPR Port

Try to reinstall Printer software and i am sure i will work this time

2^ND OPTION :

Boot to safe mode.

Log on as administrator.

Click START

Click RUN

Type REGEDIT in the empty box, Press Enter

Navigate to HKLM/system/controlset001/services/spooler.

Look for the value named dependonservice if the data entry says Lexbce

If you find that value delete it.

Navigate to HKLM/system/controlset002/services/spooler

Look for the same value as above If you find it delete it.

Navigate to HKLM/system/currentconrtolset/services/spooler

Look for the same value as above. If you find it delete it.

Close out of the registry editor and restart the computer.

The print spooler service should now be started.
