Issue: You might get an error that Data execution prevention
has closed explorer and it freezes even when you click on any video file and in
some cases click to open a folder which contains a video file.
Resolution:
- Click Start -> Run ->
Type: regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll
- Click OK
- Reboot the system and it will play videos fine.
