Stage 10ft Mode Home Icon Going to Black Screen

Problem/Issue:  When using the home icon in music to go back to the Stage UI in the 10ft mode, the stage UI can get stuck at a black screen.

Customer impact: (What will they see)

If the customer uses the home icon in music (see the attached screen shot “MusicHomeIconSelection.jpg”) to return back to the Stage UI in 10ft mode, occasionally the Stage animation will not complete, leaving the customer at a black screen (see the screen shot “MusicHomeIconSelection – black screen.jpg).

Workaround:

O To get out of this situation: Use the Task Switcher (Alt-tab)to switch between top-level windows.  To do this, hold down the alt key and press tab the required number of times to circle through the windows until the user returns back to the black screen window.  The stage animation will then execute showing the Stage UI.

o   On-going, to move back and forth between the music application and the stage UI in the 10ft mode, use the home button on the remote control, not the home icon in the music application.

Will be fixed in R3 web update of Stage – ETA 6/2011
