Resetting the First Run Wizard

After completing the first run wizard, individual settings can be changes in the Settings menu of Media Center Edition. In order to get the First Run wizard to run again, follow these instructions:

1.     Close Media Center

2.     Delete the ehshell.config file under %sysdrive%\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\eHome

3.     Use the registry editor to delete the following two nodes:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Settings
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Settings

If the ehshell.config file is not present simply delete the Ehome Folder under App Data folder. Restart the system and the option re-appears.
