Basic Troubleshooting. Hardware / Windows.

Summary

Troubleshooting steps that may enable you to resolve simple problems on your own.

Reminder!

Before undergoing any troubleshooting steps, make sure your data has been backed up.


Details
     

Restart the computer. 
A shutdown followed by a cold start can correct some problems.

Make sure that the computer has enough disk space.

Insufficient space can become a problem.

Clear the Browser cache/cookies.

For Internet Explorer: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Delete.
For Google Chrome: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear Browsing Data.
For Firefox: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear Now.

Install the latest updates for your computer.

Visit your Computer Manufacturers Support site, or Microsoft update site here

Verify that your Malware application is working.

Check for current definitions, and then scan your system.
