Wireless connection drops after 10-15 minutes intermittently in Intel 1030 Wireless Card

·         Open Device Manager

·         Expand Network Adapters

·         Right click the wireless card and choose Properties

·         Click the Advanced tab and make the following changes

Ø  Disable 802.11n Mode

Ø  Change Ad Hoc Channel 802.11b/g to 6

Ø  Change Ad Hoc QoS Mode to WMM Enabled

Ø  Change Mixed Mode Protection to RTS/CTS Enabled

Ø  Change Roaming Aggressiveness to Highest

Ø  Change Transmit Power to Highest
