Widi Set up in windows 8

Installing Intel WiDi can be tricky in Windows 8; below are some easy steps on how to get the WiDi working on windows 8.

NOTE : Make sure cx has Ethernet cable because uninstalling the drivers will cause the wireless to get disabled.

1.       Uninstall Intel WiDi and Intel MyWifi Technology from Windows 8 and restart.
2.       Download and Install Intel WiDi from this link - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=19782
4.       Check if all drivers are installed properly. DO not update any DRIVER (Wireless) after installing the above drivers.
5.       Run WiDi on Windows 8

P.S. – The adapter that connects to the Television should support WINDOWS 8

Also donot forget the update the firmware of PTV adapter for windows 8 to R2 patch from netgear website.
